On a rampage in New York City's Central Park, the villainous Carnage is stopped by the combined efforts of the web-slinging Spider-Man, the X-Men's Rogue, and the star-spanning Silver Surfer! Holding Carnage in a special containment cell, the team hands over their prisoner to the Avengers' War Machine. The armored warrior then takes off for the high-tech super-prison, the Vault, with Carnage in tow.
