When Genesis appears in Washington D.C. with the intention of releasing a super-virus to the city, the greatest heroes of the Marvel Universe arrive to stop him. Swinging in over the tops of monuments, Spider-Man is suddenly attacked by the savage Sabretooth who is now working to protect Genesis. Unable to get to the capital, the job is left to the Thing and Iron Man in his special Stealth Armor. Making a frontal attack against the villain, the Thing is able to keep Genesis' defenses busy enough for Iron Man to fly in and capture the viral canisters before they can be used.
