A mysterious soldier from Earth's future, the mutant called Bishop was transported tot he present while pursuing a time-traveling criminal named Fitzroy. Unable to return to his own time, Bishop soon joined forces with the present day X-Men! With his mutant ability to absorb energy and re-direct it as powerful blasts, Bishop continues to battle evil here and now, alongside the Uncanny X-Men!
