Hoping to drain the Hulk of his awesome power, the Leader captures him and throws him into a specifically-designed chamber and begins the energy-draining process. Enraged by the thought that Betty Ross could be one of the Leader's next victims, the Hulk grows even stronger. Breaking free from the bonds, the enraged Hulk destroys the Leader's equipment and disappears into the desert night.
