Notes: A slight mystery, this series appears to be made of three fairly common 2-packs, all with similar visual style. However, the Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus pack has a non-sequential item number and is dated one year prior to the other packs' release. Also unique is that the Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus pack has a variant; it has a one Spider-Man with a blue and red suit and one with a black and red suit. Lastly, the Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus pack is the only pack of the three that does not include the "SPECIAL EDITION" sticker on the bubble, though I have seen one picture that did include that sticker.

One final note, there is a successor series as a Grand exclusive called "CLASSIC CLASHES" that also contained the "SPECIAL EDITION" sticker. Since none of those figures fit the style being catalogued in this website they are not included anywhere here.
