When Eddie Brock was no longer able to control his symbiote's uncontrollable hunger, the symbiote separated from Venom. Without Brock to keep the symbiote in check, the creature went on a crazed rampage. This alien monster does not know right or wrong: it knows only savage instinct, and there's no telling what this living evil will do next.
