A cosmic entity possessing near-unlimited power is the being called Galactus. Also known as the devourer of worlds, Galactus needs to absorb the life energy of planets in order to survive. Because of this unending hunger, Galactus created his herald, the Silver Surfer, to find planets suitable for consumption. And although the Silver Surfer has left the service of Galactus, their destinies are forever interwined, and they are certain to face one another again!
