Attempting to use a magical amulet to become ultimately powerful, the Hobgoblin and Skinner unwittingly create a rift in time and pull out a being from the far future! Unable to control the amulet's magical powers, the villians [sic] are quickly defeated when Wolverine and Spider-Man show up to investigate the disturbance. Using their combined knowledge, even Spider-Man and Wolverine find themselves unable to reverse the amulet's effect.
